The Whirlpool® Whispure APR45130L is a HEPA type air purifier that captures up to 99% particles such as dust and pollen.
This Whirlpool model removes airborne allergens such as dust, pet dander, pollen and mold spores in a bedroom or small office. This air purifier features electronic controls and has three fan speeds. A thin charcoal pre-filter traps light odors however we do not recommend it for moderate to strong odors or for long term odor removal. The main purpose of this air cleaner is to remove airborne particles from the air and it does best with dust and pollen spores.
This air purifier has a remote control plus dust and odor sensors. When run in auto mode, the air purifier will automatically adjust the fan speed if it senses higher levels of pollutants in the air. The Whirlpool air purifier comes with a 5 year limited warranty.

The air purifier has everything the ad said. I've read many reviews from customers who had low opinions of the ion-style purifiers and am quite pleased with this one. The positive reviews were of the Whirlpool Whispure and it is "whisper quiet" on the lowest speed setting. On the highest speed setting, the air flow is strong and circulates well but it sounds a bit like a wind turbine.
