The Whirlpool Whispure AP25030K air purifier is designed for smaller sized bedrooms to remove airborne allergens such as dust, pet dander, pollen, and mold spores. The main filtration is a HEPA type filter that captures particles as they pass through the air purifier. A charcoal pre-filter traps some very light odors however is not designed for long term odor removal or for the removal of moderate to strong odors. This model filters the air 4.8 times per hour in a room up to 320 square feet (16' x 20'). This Whirlpool air purifier is Energy Star certified and comes with a 5 year limited warranty.
